Games and Project Manager

Have you built computer games?

Can you build games and continue to develop the world’s first and best real
time rendered virtual football game?

Following a great 2016, we are undergoing significant expansion to meet
customer demands and push to the forefront of virtual sports and casino
games over 2017 and 2018.

Backed by a multi-billion pound global company, we need a bigger team to
continue the momentum and this role will be a key element of that.

For this reason, we need someone who has built games, understands the processes, the
technologies, what the future is and can convert that into direction, then
action then results.

You’ll manage a team to achieve it and will need to build and grow that team
to keep meeting targets.
You’ll help set the direction we take to get to the goals.
You’ll report to the Group Operations Director, who reports to the owner,
who built the whole business.

If you want to hide amongst many layers of management and people, this isn’t
for you.
If you lead, guide, control, motivate with passion, creativity and
ownership, push, pull and shoving as needed to get the job done, you’re in
the right place.

The role is currently based in Malaga, Spain.
Relocation, in the future, as part of company growth, is a potential.
There will be some travel with the role – trade shows, (can you sell?), our
motion capture studio is in the UK, occasional senior meetings.

A “middle” level role isn’t a fair way to describe it – you’ll sit “in the
middle” of the operation, flexing up and down skills and abilities as

But being the central hub is most suited to a person not wanting to be an MD
in a year, but that over time can grow as the team and business grows.
This role, and all that comes with it, would grow too.

Project management, planning, guiding, developing, working with customers
and getting the best from people, are the skills you’ll use most for the
next few years.
You don’t need to be an expert in everything, but you need to be comfortable
to surround yourself in experts and help each of them get the best out of
their areas of expertise.

It’s a lot of work.
It’s a fantastic opportunity.

If you get it right – you’ll have been instrumental in making some of the
best games in the world.
